Summary

Reporting to the Section Head of Data Management, the Data Flow Manager will focus on creating solutions for capturing data to databases as well as applications that increase workflow efficiency within the company. This role will play a crucial part in the build out of our company’s data strategy, which will be deployed in multiple phases starting from the build out of a data platform and evolving to additional data services with advanced data analytics and AI.
 

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for collecting and importing data from different sources into the data warehouse as well as reporting out of it
• Develop solutions that will improve operational efficiency in the company
• Develop automated solutions for sharing data with our clients
• Participate in the validation of these solutions
   

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in science (engineering, computer science, bioinformatics, or other related major)
   

Main Requirements

• Knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL server is a must
• Good working knowledge of one or more of the following is advantageous: API, Python, Power BI, PHP, HTML, AWS, Yellowbrick
• Familiar with principles and methods of software development and validation
• You are analytical, well organized, result orientated and a team player capable of working under a minimum of supervision
• You combine strong technical skills with excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
   

Working Conditions

• Preferably hybrid (2-3 days/week onsite) in Wilrijk, Antwerp.
