Warehouse Clerk
The Warehouse Clerk is Responsible for performing the reception, inventory and storage activities of the material

Responsibilities
More specifically, you will participate in the following:
  • Perform the reception, triage, inventory and storage of laboratory material and general
  • reagents;
  • Communicate any discrepancy or shipment non-conformity to designated individuals;
  • Update the order management system for laboratory material and general reagents;
  • Helps manage and maintains the main storage space for the laboratory material and
  • general reagents;
  • Manages the laboratory material and general reagents transit between the main
  • storage area and the laboratory storage area to keep a sufficient supply level for
  • laboratory operations;
  • Maintains an inventory of laboratory material and general reagents (FIFO and track expired products) and  performs purchase request in the appropriate system;
  • Responsible for loading dock operation: receiving and pick-up (in-coming deliveries, waste collection, outbound shipments, etc.)
  • Support waste management in the building (chemical, bio and sample management team waste).
  • Supports the management of clean/dirty lab coat in the building
  • Supports the management of various gas cylinders in the building 
  • Maintains documentation relevant to the tasks at hand as per appropriate SOP and applicable GLP regulations and GCLP guidelines.
Education
  • High school degree. DEC or equivalent
Main Requirements
  • Strong attention to details and commitment to achieving good quality work;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team;
  • Positive, professional attitude and ability to take initiatives;
  • Knowledge and understanding of French, oral and written, and of English sufficient to
  • carry out procedures and protocols;
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically Excel;
  • Capability to lift loads weighing up to 25kg;
  • Capability to operate various platform trucks, carts and manual pallet movers
Working Conditions
  • 100% onsite.
  • Schedule for this role is Tuesday to Friday 10h-18h and Saturday 9h-17h.
